In Memoriam W.H. “Wimpy” Powers

I would like to inform you of the passing of W.H. “Wimpy” Powers ( #5045 ) on January 24, 2014.
I remember “Wimpy” as an attendee at the Winter Woodfest at Lake Yale, Florida on more that one occasion.
He lists his interest as wood collecting, trading of wood and different types of woodworking projects. He enjoyed creating beautiful objects from wood. He had a special technique, in which he skillfully cut and pieced together various types of wood to create some most interesting and unusual pieces of art called segmented marquetry.
W.H. left behind his best friend and wife by spiritual union Rose Marie McLeod.
